Cancellation policy
You can cancel a Silkworks order any time before it is dispatched, free of charge. This page explains how cancellations work, when they are no longer possible, and how refunds are issued.
How to cancel
To cancel an order, write to hello@silkworksindia.com with your order reference (e.g. SW2K7DXKZ4Q) and the words "cancel order" in the subject line. You can also call us on +91 7666660660 Monday–Saturday, 11:00–19:00 IST. We will confirm cancellation by email within one business day.
When can I cancel?
- Before dispatch (any time): full cancellation, no questions asked. We refund 100% of the order value (item + shipping) to the original payment method via PayU.
- After dispatch: the order can no longer be cancelled. You may instead refuse delivery or, once delivered, follow our Returns & refunds process within 7 days of delivery.
- Custom or made-to-order pieces: cancellation is only possible within 24 hours of order placement. After that, work has begun and the order cannot be cancelled.
Refund timeline
Once a cancellation is confirmed, the refund is initiated within 2 business days. Funds typically reach your original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank. PayU sends an automated confirmation email when the refund is processed; please reach out if you do not see the credit within 10 business days.
Cancellations initiated by Silkworks
In rare cases we may need to cancel an order from our side — for example if a piece is found to be damaged during pre-dispatch inspection, if stock is exhausted between order and dispatch, or if a pricing or fraud issue is detected. In every such case we contact you immediately and refund your payment in full. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from such a cancellation.
