Silkworks is the curated retail face of Karachi Engineering Co., a Mumbai house with deep roots in sourcing antique and vintage decorative arts from across India and Asia. Based at 1st floor, Thadani House, 329/A Worli Village, Mumbai 400030, we work directly with families, estates, dealers, monasteries and craftspeople — bringing forward objects with provenance, character and quiet beauty.

What we sell

Our collection spans temple brass and ritual lamps; Buddha and Hindu sculpture in wood, brass, ceramic and stone; vintage and antique jewelry in silver, brass and tribal metals; ceramics, glass and decorative vessels; vinyl records; and a rotating cast of one-of-a-kind objects. Each listing is documented and condition-checked. Most pieces have an interior story — the patina, the soft wear, the marks of devotion or daily use.

How we work

We hand-select every piece. We photograph it ourselves. We pack it in our own atelier in Fort, where we have made and traded for decades. We are direct, we are honest about condition, and we ship around the world.
